The Art of Etiquette & General Ethics

Program Overview

This program seeks to develop the skills of participants and enhance their proficiency in general ethics and etiquette, especially those working in the field of public relations; and aims to establish a regulatory framework for relations between individuals, as well as support positive communication between them to ensure the improvement of the quality of interaction and enhance productivity and quality work.

Program Objectives

There is no doubt that professional relationships at work requires tact and proficiency of language tools in various forms; spoken and written and even body language, in addition to applying emotional intelligence skills & techniques as well as effective communication skills. Therefore, this program is designed for all those in the work environment to provide them with the skills and information necessary to create an environment of friendliness and harmony and dominated by respect and appreciation for all people of different cultures, religion and attitudes. In general, the main objectives of this program can be summarized as follows:

  • Definition of etiquette and its types
  • Introduce the principles of ethics and etiquette behaviors in the work environment
  • Introduce the necessary skills to deal with superiors, subordinates, VIPs and visitors
  • Develop communication, speech and interaction skills within the organization
  • Enhance telephone, written and verbal communication skills
  • Develop language skills for participants
  • Introduce social, religious and cultural sensitivities and how to avoid them
  • Identify, prioritize and address guests with special needs

Pre-requisites

This program requires that students meet the following prerequisites:

  1. The candidate must have a commitment to the pursuit of
  2. The candidate must have completed a high school or secondary school diploma or similar educational
  3. The trainer must be a CBP™ at ATP accredited training center or a candidate to be a CBP™

Program Duration

The duration of this program is 15 training hours. The training hours vary according to the schedules of the certified and Authorized CBP – Certified Business Professional centers.

Program Language Delivery

This program is delivered in English Language by certified CBP™ trainers.
